PDF Tools lets you merge, split, compress, convert and edit PDF files. This policy explains what we collect when you use the site, why we collect it and how long we keep it.

You do not need an account to use any of our tools, and we never ask for your name or email address to process a file.

Each file is processed in memory and the result is sent straight back to your browser. We do not save your files or the results on our server, and they are never made public, shared or used for anything other than the tool you chose.

Like most websites, our server records basic technical information with each request, such as your IP address, browser type and the pages you visit. We use your IP address to limit how many files can be uploaded per minute and to protect the site from abuse.

We use a small number of cookies that are needed for the site to work: a session cookie, a security cookie that protects forms, and a cookie that remembers your chosen language.

Fonts are loaded from Google Fonts, which receives your IP address and is covered by its own privacy policy.

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct or delete the personal information we hold about you. Because we do not store your files, there is usually nothing for us to remove, but you can contact us with any request.

We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top of this page shows when it was last changed.
